Sunderland Publicized As City With Excellent Crime Safety Record

It has recently been made public that Sunderland, UK is the least dangerous big city in the Northern part of the country and a campaign to let it be known has jumped off to a good start.
The latest statistics have revealed that there are ten thousand less crime victims in Sunderland when compared to figures from four years ago.
Also, the Safer Sunderland Partnership, which has been running for two years now, says that the city's crime rate is less than the country's average.
However, although the Safer Sunderland Partnership wants to publicize its efforts in advocating crime safety and taking on antisocial behavior with the start of its recent "Spread the Word" campaign, crime victims do not feel completely at ease.
This brand new program plans on celebrating the city's achievements, while still reinforcing the message that ninety-five out of one hundred young citizens living in Sunderland do not ever get into trouble.
Chairman of the partnership, Coun Tom Foster, mentioned: "The partnership has achieved quite remarkable results since it was formed in 2005."
He also added, "The city is recognized nationally for some of its innovative programs, including tackling antisocial behavior, and can proudly claim that across Sunderland, out of 100 young people 95 are never involved in trouble."
